[SOLVED] Google Drive/Docs "Sorry, you can't view or download this file at this time." or "Unable to play this video at this time. The number of allowed playbacks..."

Downloading Files on Google Drive or Google Docs and this message shows up
"Sorry, you can't view or download this file at this time." or "Unable to play this video at this time. The number of allowed playbacks has been exceeded. Please try again later."

We now got a solution to that.

To do this we need:
* Google Account

First you must be signed in to your Google account,

When you download something from a link to a Google Docs/Drive;

This is what we usually see:

and if we try to download, it will redirect us to a page like this:

So, the first thing we do is
Go back to the link(the first picture) and click the word "File"
and Click "Move to Folder"

After that, something will pop up, and click "My drive" and it will be checked, then click "Move"

After you moved it, go to your Google drive account or click the Google drive symbol on top left corner. And it will redirect you to your Google drive account.

Then right click on the file and click "Make a Copy"

It will be copied to your Google Drive

Then right click on the copy and click "Download"

Now, you will be able to download it.

    1. if you have the download link, it should look like this: https://docs.google.com/uc?id="--ID HERE--"&export=download
      just change it to:https://docs.google.com/file/d/"--ID HERE--"/edit

  3. Hey bro your tuts great but I am downloading a file that keeps stops downloading after sometime. I am downloading through IDM it's name is WADK8-EN.iso, while downloading for some time it downloads fine but stops after some time and cannot resume again as when the link refreshes the google docs show this error of sorry. By your method I got the file but I cannot resume the previously downloaded file. Can I resume it because then I have to wait for many hours before the file resumes. It only downloads some MB of it and then stops.

    2. Hey bro see it for yourself but I cannot copy it. It's grayed out. I shared it with my drive and then made a copy of the file in my drive. But when I download it, I can't resume the already downloaded file. It's really frustrating. What kind of mechanism has google really put in on this. It's one of the crap I have ever seen in google. That's one more reason to why I hate google drive/docs.
